The Library's Digital Collection

In addition to the print collection, the library subscribes to key electronic databases, including Lexis and HeinOnline. Our Lexis subscription provides access to state and federal caselaw and statutes as well as Shepard's Citations Service and numerous treatises. HeinOnline is a wonderful tool for accessing journal articles. HeinOnline provides a photocopy-like reprint of journal articles in the Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) format. HeinOnline also provides access to the Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Register, United States Code and the Statutes at Large, and much more. Patrons are permitted to utilize the public access terminals for up to an hour per day for online legal research.

This free search engine searches the full-text of over 350 online law reviews and law journals, as well as document repositories hosting academic papers and related publications, such as Congressional Research Service reports. Several of the law reviews and legal journals (such as the Stanford Technology Law Review), working papers, and reports are available online only.
